End of year and looking forward to 2014.

It is always kind of sad to see another Christmas holiday fold at the end of the year. I have brought in all my boxes and will be putting away my Christmas decor for another year.
I just got through watching the largest fireworks display ever done.  It was in Dubai. What a beautiful display. I watched on TV.
I am busy now working on Valentine dolls and have completed a primitive black doll.
and  named her Seleena; She is 17 inches tall and will sit or hang on a hook. Sorry but she is Sold. Pattern will be available soon.

Mr. Dapper Snowman doll

I made these 27 in. snowmen dolls for my granddaughters this Christmas. The pattern is available on Ebay.

I made this Norwegian Jule Kaga and lemon bars last week and put them in the freezer for Christmas.
My sister Margie Eveline painted the Christmas tree and snowman on a towel for me.

I love the look of this Winter scene taken somewhere in England. I can just imagine all the holiday preparation going on inside these little cottages.
We seldom see snow in Nashville TN. but the Winter scenes from distant lands are beautiful to look at.

It is a magical time of year when everything is frosty & sparkly.  I purchased these little glass birds this year for my smaller tree and they are beautiful perched on the snowy branches.
